Time Management

A big stressor in life – and not just for athletes – involves time management. What steps can you take to reduce stress while keeping up with training, competition, travel, and homework? 

Here are a few recommendations.

1) Practice mindfulness

2) Prioritize. What needs to be done now? What can wait?

3) Avoid multitasking. By focusing on one task, you can focus your mental and physical resources toward tackling one goal.  

4) Take a break. Members of our team enjoy working on one task for an extended period, and then taking a 10-minute break. Then, we start work again refreshed and focused.
